The **Building **layer contains a variety of attributes that allow you to customize the overall look of the building. The layer itself varies depending on the preset you begin with (Tower vs. Wrap is a strong example) because so values will remain at zero in one preset as opposed to the other.  ![](https://support.testfit.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Nov-11-2025-02-24-52-5267-PM.png?width=326&height=939&name=image-png-Nov-11-2025-02-24-52-5267-PM.png) **Definitions** - **Shape -** Defines the constraints of the building within the site/region. Typically left on *fill* - **Wrap levels** - sets the number of building levels wrapping a garage OR unparked levels (preset dependent). - **Podium levels** - sets the number of building levels above the parking garage  - (preset dependent).**Floor to floor height** - Set the global floor to floor height (affects facade takeoffs and courtyard aspect ratio). A restricted single floor to floor height is applied to each site. - **Corridor width** - sets the corridor width. - **Courtyard aspect ratio** - set the minimum courtyard width for a given building height ([See diagrams below](https://support.testfit.io/knowledge/building#courtyardaspectratio)). - **Orthographic** - toggles orthographic solves on/off (building respects 90 degree angles when enabled). - **Line garage** - If enabled, podium buildings will have liner units, and wrap buildings will force-wrap the garage (if not dimensionally constrained by the site). Garage placement will be affected when locating the garage with line garage enabled. - **Parapets** - toggles roof parapets in 3D on or off. - **Parapet Height** - defines height of roof parapet. --- ### **Adjusting the corridor width:** Click the  + / - icons or select the number and enter new corridor width. ![](https://support.testfit.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Nov-11-2025-02-28-02-2379-PM.png?width=670&height=231&name=image-png-Nov-11-2025-02-28-02-2379-PM.png) ---   ### **Adjusting the number of podium levels:** Click the  + / - icons or select the number and enter number of podium levels.
