      Where to find TestFit logs

      Occasionally TestFit logs are needed to help diagnose and troubleshoot issues

      Windows

       For Windows the log files are located here

      C:\ProgramData\testfit\.logs

      By default the Programdata folder is hidden. To show the ProgramData folder in Windows:
      1. Open File Explorer
      2. Select View
      3. Select Options
      4. Select Change folder and search options
      5. Select the View tab
      6. In Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives
      7. Select OK 
       

      MacOS

      On MacOS, the log files are here:
      Macintosh HD/Users/<username>/Library/Logs/com.buildingforge.testfit/ 
      You can also paste the path below into Finder by hitting Shift, ⌘ + G:
      ~/Library/Logs/com.buildingforge.testfit/
      If you cannot find the Library folder, that means the folder is hidden. To unhide the Library folder:
      1. Open Finder  (push Shift, ⌘ + H to go to your home directory)
      2. Right-click > Show View Options
      3. Check "Show Library Folder"
      4. Now you should see the "Library" folder in the Finder window. Open Library>Logs>com.buildingforge.testfit
