      Survey Benchmark

      Use the Survey Benchmark to set an elevation at a specific point on your site

      Adding a Survey Benchmark

      To add a survey Benchmark to your site, click the Survey Benchmark button on the Map Controls ribbon on the right side of the Canvas.

      NOTE: Once placed, you cannot remove a placed Survey Benchmark.

      Modifying the elevation of the benchmark

      By default the benchmark will show the elevation at that point. However, if you want to change it, you can click on the elevation in the tag and enter a new elevation.

      Changing the elevation of the survey benchmark will override the elevation data that TestFit uses for cut and fill.

      Resetting the Survey Benchmark elevation

      The easiest way to reset the survey benchmark elevation to the default elevation is to place a new survey benchmark in the same location.
