      Issue: File size of exported PDFs are much larger than they used to be

      PDFs exported in TestFit are now 10x to 200x bigger than they were.

      Issue

      When exporting a PDF from TestFit, the file size is much bigger than before.

      Cause

      Now that map data is included in the PDF export files are expected to be larger than in previous versions of TestFit. However, they should be too much larger.

      This is a known issue with version 3.23 of TestFit.

      Solution

      This was resolved in 3.24 of TestFit.

      If you are seeing this behavior, install the latest version of TestFit from portal.testfit.io, or you can turn the opacity of the map layer to 0.
